About the Symposium
關於研討會
Organised by the Children’s Cancer Foundation and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, this symposium serves as the capstone event of the three-year “Jockey Club Children’s Palliative Care Project.” The symposium will showcase key research findings and care models developed under the project, and we look forward to joining hands with healthcare professionals, academics, and individuals or organisations dedicated to caring for critically ill children to explore the future development of children’s palliative care and build boundless palliative pathways together.
是次研討會由兒童癌病基金主辦，並承蒙香港賽馬會慈善信託基金捐助。作為為期三年「賽馬會紓緩童行計劃」的壓軸活動，研討會將展示此計劃的重點研究成果與建立的照護模式，並期盼與醫護界、學術界及關懷危重症病童的人士及團體，共同探討兒童紓緩服務的未來發展，攜手開拓無界限的照護之路。

- The event is free of charge.
- The deadline for registration is 31 July 2026. Space is limited for both onsite and online participants on a first-come-first-served basis.
- Successful participants will be confirmed by email. If you do not receive a confirmation email by 1 August 2026, please contact the Organising Committee.
- For overseas participants, please contact the Organising Committee if supporting documents for applying for a travel visa are needed.
- e-Certificates of Attendance will be issued to the participants after the completion of the event feedback form.
- To apply for CME/CNE/CPD accreditation, participants must complete attendance registration and the event feedback form. Both physical and virtual attendance lists will be submitted to the respective academies for accreditation.
- Photos and videos taken during the event may be used for the Children’s Cancer Foundation’s promotional or publicity purposes.
- 活動費用全免。
- 截止報名日期為 2026年7月31日，實體及線上席位有限，先到先得。

All participants are requested to note the respective contingency measures in the event of the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 (or above), or the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal being issued before or during the “Jockey Club Children’s Palliative Care Project” 2026 Asia Children’s Palliative Care Hybrid Symposium (hereafter “the Symposium”).
若在「賽馬會紓緩童行計劃」2026亞洲兒童紓緩服務研討會（下稱「研討會」）舉行前或期間，香港天文台發出八號（或以上）熱帶氣旋警告信號，或黑色暴雨警告信號，請所有與會人士留意以下應變措施。
For Day 1 & Day 2
(5&6 September 2026)
- At 7:00 AM: If the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 (or above) or the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is in force, that day’s Symposium will be cancelled.
- The Organiser will notify all participants of any new arrangements via the official symposium website and by email.
- If any of the above signals are cancelled at or before 6:59 AM, that day’s Symposium will proceed as scheduled.
- If the Pre-No. 8 Special Announcement is issued during the event, the Symposium will be concluded within two hours to allow participants to travel home safely.
- The Organiser will make an immediate onsite announcement and will post updates on the official symposium website.
- Lower Signals: The Symposium will continue as scheduled when the Standby Signal No. 1 or the Strong Wind Signal No. 3 is in force.
- Official Announcements: All updates and announcements will be made through the official symposium website. Please visit cpcf.ccf.org.hk/jccpc_asiasymposium2026/ for the latest arrangements.
- Disclaimer: The Organiser reserves the right to adjust these arrangements depending on actual conditions. Any changes will be announced as soon as possible.

- 上午7時正： 若八號（或以上）熱帶氣旋警告信號或黑色暴雨警告信號仍然生效，當日的研討會活動將會取消。
- 主辦機構將透過研討會官方網站及電郵，通知所有與會人士最新安排。
- 若上述任何信號於上午6時59分或之前取消，當日的研討會活動將如期舉行。
- 若天文台於活動期間發出「預警八號熱帶氣旋警告信號之特別報告」（即預計在兩小時內發出八號信號），研討會將於兩小時內結束，以便與會人士安全回家。
- 主辦機構將立即在現場作廣播宣佈，並於研討會官方網站發佈最新消息。
